Personal data within the application process
Personal data is information about personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, your address, your telephone number and your date of birth, but also data about your specific career, etc., which can be assigned to a specific person with reasonable effort. If you apply to us electronically, i.e. by e-mail or via our web form, we will collect and process your personal data for the purpose of handling the application procedure and for carrying out pre-contractual measures.
By sending us an application on our recruiting page, you express your interest in taking up employment with us. In this context, you transmit us personal data which we use and store exclusively for the purpose of your job search/application.

You also have the option of uploading meaningful documents such as a cover letter, your resume and certificates. Personal data is stored exclusively for the purpose of filling the vacant position for which you have applied.

Your data will be stored for a period of [number of] days beyond the end of the application process. This is usually done to fulfill legal obligations or to defend against possible claims arising from legal regulations. Subsequently, we are obliged to delete or make your data anonymous. In this case, the data is only available to us as so-called metadata without direct personal reference for statistical analysis (e.g. percentage of women or men in applications, number of applications per period, etc.).

In addition, we reserve the right to store your data for inclusion in our "Talent Pool" for [number of] days after the end of the application process in order to identify any other positions of interest to you. Transfer of data to third parties
The data submitted in the context of your application will be transmitted using TLS encryption and stored in a database. This database is operated by Personio GmbH, which offers personnel administration and applicant management software (https://www.personio.de/impressum/). In this context, Personio is our contract processor according to Art. 28 DS-GVO. The basis for the processing is a contract for order processing between us as the responsible body and Personio.

Rights of data subjects
If personal data are processed by us as the responsible body, you as the data subject have certain rights under Chapter III of the EU Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO), depending on the legal basis and purpose of the processing, in particular the right to information (Article 15 DS-GVO), the right to correction (Article 16 DS-GVO), the right to deletion (Article 17 DS-GVO), the right to restrict processing (Article 18 DS-GVO), the right to data transferability (Article 20 DS-GVO), the right to object (Article 21 DS-GVO). Personio’s role is limited to operating the software and this recruitment website and, in this context, being a processor under article 28 of the GDPR. Access logs (“server logs”)
